So I had a job interview at 0850 this morning. I really want this particular job. It's dispatching for my home town police dept., where I grew up as a kid. All new faces, but it still feels like home.

So I heard about 80 applied, and 20 were invited for the written test. Only 13 showed up. Not sure how many got call backs for the oral interview but when I arrived I was told the 0830, before me, didn't show. One less for competition.

I was nervous as heck, and I know they could tell. I jabbered, I just know it. Hind sight is always 20/20 and I look back at the 6 questions and I relive them over in my head on how I could have answered better. I know that's beating myself up. All I keep saying is that it's in God's hands. If it's His will, I'll have the job. If not, I'll keep looking for that open door.
